March Studio expanded UCLA School of Dentistry’s Venice Family Dental Clinic to introduce dedicated pediatric care, allowing the clinic to better serve entire families while creating an exceptional teaching environment for dental students.
A new metal-clad addition transforms the rear of the existing building and creates a more welcoming journey from arrival to treatment. New landscaping with California native plants, an exterior mural and bold UCLA signage establish a stronger community presence, while a light-filled children’s waiting area overlooking the gardens creates a calmer experience for young patients and their families.
More than an expansion, the project brings UCLA into the Venice community in a way that feels approachable and rooted in place, creating an environment centered on access, dignity and care.
