March Studio helps nonprofits and community-based organizations improve people’s everyday lives through authentic, purpose-oriented architecture.
Woodbury University School of Architecture students, in collaboration with the University of Redlands, have brought their designs to life at SURF—building small-scale structures like an Outdoor Classroom, Chicken Coop, and Produce Station that reflect thoughtful design, hands-on learning, and a shared vision for sustainability.
Tackling real-world challenges like budget, buildability, and social impact, the student-led effort—guided by faculty Todd Erlandson and Jeanine Centuori—demonstrates the power of creativity, purpose, and collaboration.
